Zollernalb Rhino ZRC22 – hydraulic reinforcing steel cutter up to 22 mm
The Zollernalb Rhino ZRC22 is a powerful electro-hydraulic reinforcing steel cutter for the fast and controlled cutting of reinforcing steel, construction steel bars and similar round materials.
With its powerful 1,500-watt electric motor and hydraulic cutting system, the machine is suitable for demanding work in concrete, structural, building construction, and civil engineering. It can process reinforcing steel up to a diameter of 22 mm .
The compact design allows for mobile use directly at the work site. This eliminates the need to first transport long or already installed reinforcing bars to a stationary cutting machine.
Powerful electro-hydraulic cutting system
In the Rhino ZRC22, the electric motor drives an integrated hydraulic unit. The generated hydraulic pressure moves the cutting mechanism and separates the inserted material in a controlled manner.
Compared to manual cutting with bolt cutters, the hydraulic system significantly reduces the required force. At the same time, it enables repeatable and clean work processes in series production.
For reinforcing steel up to 22 mm
The ZRC22 is designed for reinforcing and structural steel with a diameter of up to 22 mm .
This makes the machine suitable for both smaller reinforcing bars and stronger reinforcement elements, such as those used in concrete and reinforced concrete construction.
The actual cutting performance depends on the type of material, strength class, diameter and condition of the cutting tool.
1,500 watts of power at 230 volts
The powerful 1,500-watt motor provides the necessary drive for the hydraulic unit. The machine operates on a standard 230-volt/50-Hz power supply .
A high-voltage power connection or a separate external hydraulic power unit is not required. This allows the ZRC22 to be used flexibly on construction sites, in workshops and during assembly work.
Compact and portable
Despite its high cutting performance, the Zollernalb Rhino ZRC22 is designed as a portable machine. The device can be transported directly to the reinforcement cage, the reinforcing mesh, or to the already installed steel.
This is particularly advantageous during conversion, renovation and assembly work, where the material cannot be easily transported to a stationary machine.
Robust cutting head
The massive cutting head is designed to withstand the high forces generated when cutting reinforcing steel. The material is positioned between the cutting jaws and then hydraulically cut.
Correct alignment of the steel supports a uniform cut and reduces unnecessary stress on cutting jaws and machine mechanics.

Notes
The material to be cut must be within the approved cutting range and correctly positioned between the cutting jaws. The machine must not be used to cut unsuitable, hardened, or unauthorized materials.
Before each use, the cutting jaws, fastening screws, hydraulic system, power cable and machine housing must be checked for damage. Worn or damaged cutting jaws must be replaced in good time.
The material must not be held directly against the cutting head with the hands during the cutting process. Cut-off pieces of material may move or fall off.
Safety note: Wear appropriate eye, face, hand, foot, and hearing protection while working. Unplug the power cord before cleaning, maintenance, or changing tools.
