Zollernalb Rhino ZRrb22 – hydraulic reinforcing steel bender for 8 to 22 mm
The Zollernalb Rhino ZRrb22 is a portable electro-hydraulic bending machine for the fast and energy-saving bending of reinforcing steel, concrete steel and similar round steel bars.
With its powerful 1,300-watt motor and integrated hydraulic system, the device processes reinforcing bars with a diameter of 8 to 22 mm . Depending on the material, diameter, and desired bend, a bending operation takes approximately 4 to 5 seconds .
The compact design allows for mobile use directly at the reinforcement cage or on the construction site. This eliminates the need to transport long, heavy, or already positioned steel bars to a stationary bending machine.
Powerful electro-hydraulic bending system
The electric motor drives an integrated hydraulic unit. The resulting pressure moves the bending mechanism and shapes the reinforcing steel in a controlled manner.
Compared to manual bending, the hydraulic system significantly reduces the required physical effort. This is particularly beneficial for repetitive bending tasks, reducing both working time and physical strain.

The Rhino ZRrb22 is designed for round and reinforcing steel with a diameter of at least 8 mm up to a maximum of 22 mm .

The actual bending performance possible depends, among other things, on the steel quality, the strength class, the material diameter and the desired bending radius.

The Zollernalb Rhino ZRrb22 operates with a 1,300-watt electric motor and is powered by a standard 230-volt/50-Hz electrical connection .
A high-voltage power connection or a separate external hydraulic unit is not required. This allows the bending machine to be used flexibly on construction sites, in workshops, and during assembly work.
Mobile and usable directly at the workplace
The portable design allows bending directly at the point of use. This is particularly practical for already installed reinforcement cages, wall and ceiling reinforcements, or for subsequent adjustments on the construction site.
The integrated carrying handle supports safe machine operation and facilitates transport between the individual work areas.
Robust construction for construction sites and workshops
The massive bending head and the robust machine housing are designed to withstand the high forces generated when forming reinforcing steel.

Notes
The steel used must be within the permitted diameter range of 8 to 22 mm and correctly positioned in the bending fixture.
The machine must not be used for bending unsuitable, hardened, or non-manufacturer-approved materials. Bending performance may vary depending on the steel grade and strength class.
Before each use, the bending head, mounts, fastening screws, hydraulic system, power cable and housing must be checked for damage.
Hands and other body parts must be kept away from the bending head and the work area throughout the entire bending process. The steel can move or spring back during forming.
